Information Conduit handles

The companion receives session titles, repository names, prompts, model responses, tool output, approval requests, and usage totals from your paired Mac. Prompts and actions you enter on iPhone return to that Mac.

Conduit stores the paired Mac's address and a device credential on your iPhone so it can reconnect. Unpairing removes that saved pairing information. Session transcripts are not stored as a separate history by the iPhone app.

Where the information goes

The companion communicates with the paired Mac over an encrypted Conduit protocol. Your Mac may then send prompts and related context to Concentrate and the model provider selected for the session. Those services process the request to provide the model response and account usage.

Conduit does not sell personal information and does not use companion data for advertising or tracking.

Device permissions

• Camera access scans the pairing QR code. Conduit does not save the camera image.
• Local Network access connects the iPhone to Conduit on your Mac.
• Notifications report completed work, questions, and approval requests while the companion remains connected.
• Live Activities show the active project and run status on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

Retention and control

You can remove the saved connection from the Conduit menu by choosing Unpair. You can also remove the app to delete its local data. Session and account retention on the Mac or Concentrate service follows the controls and policies for those products.
